मैं तो हूँ वि-श्वास में...

On 'Sadguru Kabir Saheb's Jayanti' i.e., Jyestha Poornima, some new thoughts that had emerged while contemplating on Kabir Saheb's verses...
"Moko Kahan Dhundhere bande, Main to tere pass mein...........................Kahet Kabir suno bhai sadho, mein to hunVishwas mein"

So, what is VISHWAS??? :-)
Is it Trust or mmm...is it Unaltered Faith on Something/Someone???

Lets divide and understand, VI (वि ) SHWAS (श्वास ) VISHWAS.
What is ShwasShwas means "breath".....we say shwas-ucchwas means "breathing".

  • Between Shwas (inhaling) and Ucchwas (exhaling) there is a "point" where there is neither Shwas norUcchwas. This point could be called something like, Kumbhak (aantar & bahya). This Point is VISHWAS :-)
  • In Sanskrit, the "Vi" root represents "Opposite". If Shwas is 'breathing', Vishwas is 'No Breathing'. In deeper states of Meditation, a sadhak attains states of almost 'no breath'. This State is VISHWAS :-)
  • Shwas is the connecting link between the Body and the Mind. We all know that changes in breathing pattern represents different human moods. By large, we identify that when Shwas is fast the Mind could be experiencing anger, anxiety, tension..etc. as compared to when its slower the feeling will be more composed, peaceful, happy..etc. However, no matter whether the breath is slow or fast, there is an impression on our conscious of the "mind" and the "body". So, what happens when there is No Shwas (breathing) ??? It is Death. It is Death of the Mind (thus, its association with the body). This Death is VISHWAS :-)
THUS, KABIR SAHEB SPAKE:
Moko Kahan Dhundhere Bande
Mein To Tere Paas Mein
Na Teerath Mein, Na Moorat Mein
Na Ekant Niwas Mein
Na Mandir Mein, Na Masjid Mein
Na Kabe Kailas Mein
Na Mein Jap Mein, Na Mein Tap Mein
Na Mein Barat Upaas Mein
Na Mein Kiriya Karm Mein Rehta
Nahin Jog Sanyas Mein
Nahin Pran Mein Nahin Pind Mein
Na Brahmand Akas Mein
Na Mein Prakuti Prawar Gufa Mein
Nahin Swasan Ki Swans Mein
Khoji Hoye Turat Mil Jaoon
Ik Pal Ki Talas Mein
Kahet Kabir Suno Bhai Sadho
Mein To Hun Viswas Mein
मैं तो हूँ वि-श्वास में...
